Recordings

I keep my recording projects eclectic - I like doing all kinds of different things. I play the music I love, which means I’ve published recordings as a classical clarinetist, classical composer, a pop artist, a film score composer, and a gaming music composer.

Sali

Sali is the result of work I did at the Escape to Create Residency in Seaside, FL in February of 2022, and the music combines clarinet and bass clarinet with electronics. At its heart, the album is an exploration of identity. When I was a kid, the three most important men in my life (my grandpa, dad, and brother) all had the nickname “Sal” from our last name. For some reason, though, my nickname growing up was “Sali” instead. Was this because I was the creative one? Why did I of all people have the unique nickname? Am I unique? This album attempts to answer the question of: How am I different, and similar, to these people whom I deeply respect? [2023]
